Raceway 5K and 3K Fun Run/Walk
Competitors, walkers, dog lovers – all will be at the historic, Meadowdale International Raceway for the 5K / 3K run and fun. Now a 90-acre forest preserve in Carpentersville, Raceway Woods showcases old-growth forests , rolling terrain and preserves the paths of the original racetrack. Bring your dog for some fun and exercise and do either the 3K or 5K course.
The 7th annual Raceway 5K and 3K Fun Run/Walk on the historic Meadowdale International Raceway in Raceway Woods in Carpentersville. Experience all the curves, straightaways, bank turns, and hills this challenging race has to offer. Or take a leisurely pace through one of the most scenic preserves in northeastern Illinois. This is a rare event where you can bring your dog for some exercise and some special swag.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the charities of the Rotary Club of Carpentersville including the Carpentersville F.I.S.H. Food Pantry, and Operation Warm – new coats purchased for Carpentersville kids in need. Thanks for supporting these efforts. We look forward to seeing you out there!

Race Day Reminders:
The Race will take place on the historic Meadowdale International Raceway in the Raceway Woods Forest Preserve on the north west corner of Rte. 31 & Main St./Huntley Rd. in Carpentersville starting at 8 am. Registration/Sign In will start at 6:30 am that morning.
Event parking will only be allowed in the designated parking area which will be located just north of Spring Point Dr. off of Rt. 31 on the west side of the highway. Signage will be posted and volunteers will be on site to direct you in. Carpooling is recommended.
Make sure to leave yourself at least 20 minutes to park & register or sign in and be ready for the start of the race.

By participating in the Raceway 5K and 3K Fun Run/Walk event, you acknowledge and agree to the release waiver that was presented to you as part of the registration process. For children under the age of 7 that will be participating in the event, a release waiver must be signed by the parent/guardian. The release waiver is part of the registration form if done in person and is an agreed to item when done online. Sorry, No Refunds.
