Run or walk through the historic Meadowdale International Raceway, now a Kane County Forest Preserve known as Raceway Woods. Original 3.27 mile track is still in place in this scenic 122 acre park.
Welcome to the online registration page for the 6th annual Raceway 5K Challenge on the historic Meadowdale International Raceway in Raceway Woods in Carpentersville hosted by the Rotary Club of Carpentersville. Gather your friends, family members & random strangers and prepare to run or walk through the historic race track. Experience all the curves, straightaways, bank turns, and hills this challenging race has to offer! Need we say “hills” again?
Proceeds from this event will benefit the charities of the Rotary Club of Carpentersville including the Carpentersville F.I.S.H. Food Pantry, and Operation Warm – new coats purchased for Carpentersville kids in need. Thanks for supporting these efforts. We look forward to seeing you out there.
Craft Donuts will also be supplying some of their tasty donuts for racers, and will also have nitro cold brew coffee for sale. Be sure to bring cash or a credit card if you are in need of some extra caffeine or sugar!
Race Day Reminders:
The race will take place on the historic Meadowdale International Raceway in the Raceway Woods Forest Preserve on the north west corner of Rte. 31 & Main St./Huntley Rd. in Carpentersville starting at 8 am. Registration/Sign In will start at 6:30 am that morning.
Event parking will only be allowed in the designated parking area which will be located just north of Spring Point Dr. off of Rte. 31 on the west side of the Rd. Signage will be posted and volunteers will be on site to direct you in. Carpooling is suggested.
Make sure to leave yourself at least 20 minutes to park & register or sign in and be ready for the start of the race.

By participating in the Raceway 5K event, you acknowledge and agree to the release waiver that was presented to you as part of the registration process. For children under the age of 7 that will be participating in the event, a release waiver must be signed by the parent/guardian. The release waiver is part of the registration form if done in person and is an agreed to item when done online. Sorry, No Refunds.
