Pedal Fest takes place at the City Creek Trail Head/Centennial Park on South Grant Street in Pocatello, Idaho. Race classes are Junior, Beginner, Sport, Expert and Open Pro divisions. There will be a post race lunch on Saturday, June 9th at Centennial Park catered by The Sand Trap. Racers will receive swag including a raffle ticket and a custom Pedal Fest t-shirt. There will be cash prizes for Open class top three, male and female and medals for top 3 in each age category for each class.

WHO WE ARE:
A collection of trail biking enthusiasts with a passion for outdoor recreation, competition, and common vision for celebrating the use of our unique outdoor trail resource!
PEDAL FEST VISION:
All community members have ample opportunity to participate in a healthy, vibrant, and sustainable outdoor recreational lifestyle through the use of a safe and well-maintained Pocatello trail system.
PEDAL FEST MISSION:
Provide resources (money and labor) to help promote, maintain, and improve all trails in the greater Pocatello area.
Primary Annual Goal:
Conduct an annual bike race which:
• Will raise funds to support the vision & mission of Pedal Fest.
• Will offer a variety of fun, competitive events for many biking disciplines and all skill levels.
• Will be the “best run” bike race in the Intermountain West and a “destination” event for the community.
• Will work cooperatively with the City of Pocatello for the use of the City Creek Management Area to conduct the race.
Secondary Future Goals:
• Solicit individual trail sponsorship from area retailers and provide recognition signage.
• Actively determine community trail needs and make them a reality through the donation of labor and materials for:
• New bridges
• New signage
• Trail maintenance
• Water quality improvements and erosion prevention for our local waterways
Past successes:
• 8 successful races
• Purchased an equipment-tote to assist back-country trail maintenance, chain saw and other trial working tools.
• Purchased and installed new, permanent City Creek trail maps/signs.
• Created a kid’s BMX Course (Pump Track).
• Conducted several bridge replacements in the City Creek Trail System.
• Establish Pedal Fest as a “not-for-profit” 501(c)(3) corporation.
• Over 1000 man hours contributed to the Sterling Justice Trail.
• New trail signage for city creek trails and Sterling Justice Overlook
• Bike bridge for the Portneuf Health complex bike park
• Bridge and trail building and year round trail maintenance
• Donations to Pocatello Pioneers Mountain Bike team
