This year the HOH 5K will take place on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 8:00 am and is held at Northbrook Junior High School, 1475 Maple Avenue in Northbrook. The HOH 5K is open to all levels of runners, walkers, families and have younger children. Strollers are permitted. (NO bikes, dogs or rollerblades, please)
Known as the HOH 5K, the race is named for the late Dr. Harvey, a longtime superintendent of District 28. To date 342 District 28 graduates have been awarded $307,500 in scholarship funds.
The HOH 5K is the main fundraiser to support the Scholarship Fund and is promoted through the four schools in District 28 and at Glenbrook North High School. Last year the event hosted more than 500 participants, Kids Fun Run, spectators, and volunteers, and earned over $10,000 for the Scholarship Fund after expenses.
We are seeking sponsorships from area businesses and individuals at various levels of sponsorship. Sponsorships received by March 30, 2019, will be acknowledged by your contribution level and promoted using your business name and logo. Performance Race T-Shirts (without a race entry) are available for $10-$12
