This year is the 4th annual lung cancer awareness 5k run/ walk in memory of Susan Filson. The event raises awareness of the disease and funds go to research.
We are hosting the 4th Annual Susan Filson Lung Cancer Awarenes 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Brookside Park in Rensselaer. Susan fought her battle until June 30, 2013. We could not stand by and let lung cancer take another life. So our hope is to raise funds that will be used to raise awareness of lung cancer symptoms, early treatments and screening, as well as research for a cure. Please consider donating money or your time to help make this a successful memorial to our mom, Sue.
