The 9/11 Memorial Service and Run was created in solemn remembrance of those killed in the attacks. It reflects on the victims, their families, the first responders, and the military personnel who answered the call to keep us safe. This event is also a celebration of American resilience to stand in the face of oppression and fear. It gives us all the opportunity to participate in a community event that inspires both hope and patriotism and as a result bring us closer together.
The 9 /11 Memorial Service and Run was founded in 2016 by members of the ROTC program. The students felt called to create a day of remembrance for the community to come together to honor the nearly 3,000 victims of these attacks and pay tribute to all those who risked their lives to save others. This run recognizes the thousands of survivors as well as those who supported their families in the aftermath.
Our hope is that you will join us on this very special day as we come together as one to honor all those effected by the events that occurred on September 11th. For more information visit our website at 911memorialrun.org
