The Patriots for Freedom 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk will be held on November 11, 2017. This event benefits Liberty Baseball and Honor Flight Columbus. The walk will begin at 8:30am with the 5K following at 9am.

The Patriots for Freedom 5K Run &1 Mile Walk is sponsored by the Liberty Athletic Boosters - RBI Club. The event will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017. In addition to supporting the baseball program, Olentangy Liberty Baseball has proudly partnered with Honor Flight Columbus. This organization recognizes our military veterans by funding trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the war memorials.

Honor Flight Columbus recognizes our military veterans by funding trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the war memorials. Each flight transports 82-87 veterans and costs a total of $62,000. That is approximately $750/veteran. After the September 9th flight, Honor Flight Columbus will have flown more than 5,000 veterans from central Ohio since its inception in 2010. As of today, Honor Flight has almost 1200 applications for veterans who want to go on a flight. Please help us support our veterans by making a donation. This can be done during race registration. 100% of all funds that are collected will stay local and go directly to Honor Flight Columbus.
