Please join us on the evening of Saturday September 22, 2018 for the KMR Night Ops Road March in honor of all the brave men and women from NY State who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation. This unique event will take place at Allegany State Park in the dark of night and features a 2.2 mile uphill hike on a rail bed followed by 2.2 miles back down the hill to the finish line!

Road marchers will be required to carry toys in their backpacks that will be donated to the Gold Star mothers for distribution to children of Veterans! No flashlights will be allowed except for emergency use if needed. There are also a limited number of openings for group camping on Saturday night. You must be 21 or older to join the group camp (no exceptions). Participants are also welcome to pay the $50 registration fee shown below and make their own arrangements for lodging at the park or nearby hotels.


START/FINISH
The race will start and finish at the base of Bova Ski Hill in the Red House Area of Allegany State Park. Detailed maps will be posted here in the coming weeks.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open until Friday September 21st at noon. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at the park on Saturday from 4pm right up until the start of the race just after sunset (approximately 7:30pm).

* Your registration fee includes an official KMR Night Ops event t-shirt plus finish line gift.
*Must be 16 or older to participate in the Night Ops event. Please note that 16 and 17 year olds MUST BE accompanied by a parent throughout the event in order to participate.

GROUP CAMP OPTION**
Race organizers have reserved 70 spots for a group camp in the Red House area of the park for Saturday night. Your registration fee of $100 will get you entry into the race, custom event t-shirt, finish line gift, PLUS the option to stay and camp in the Red House Area. There will be a catered meal and campfire provided for those choosing this option. You must be 21 or older to camp with the group (No children please). Campers can check-in on Saturday starting at noon and must checkout by 11am on Sunday.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us as at the finish line as we cheer on all of the finishers. Adults (Age 21 and older) are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy responsibly after the race. 

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking close to the start/finish line at Bova Ski Hill.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
The Night Ops event will feature a gun start and chip finish. Timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by ITSBuffalo Time and Race Management Solutions. Results will be updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:

Race participants can also use the ITSYourRace platform to view and share finish line photos with family and friends for free on Facebook. Custom finisher certificates can also be downloaded from the results page at no charge!
