5k/10k/1 mile fun run
Start the day with fun for the whole family! Run or walk as a warm up for your race. All 5k and 10k registrants can run or walk the 1 mile fun run at no additional cost! Strollers welcome on the 1 mile fun run.
5k and 10k racers will start at the Mooseheart Fieldhouse, wind their way through the idyllic campus, head out around the beautiful swan-filled lake, under the eagle’s nest, past the historic chapel and back toward the fieldhouse for a downhill finish.
The course is a combination of asphalt on the private streets of the Mooseheart campus and compact gravel on the path around the lake. For the safety of our racers, strollers will not be allowed on the 5k and 10k
While we do not currently have a wheelchair division, wheelchairs and push wheelchairs are welcome. The path around the lake is not paved and is a bit rough in places with dirt, rough gravel and potholes.
Water stations will be at 1 and 2 mile marks. Refreshments will be provided at the finish line.
