A 5K/1 Mile benefiting the Journey of Hope Cancer support Center in New Bern, NC.
The 2015 Craig Brake Memorial Colors 4 Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk is a color run which benefits the Journey of Hope Cancer Support Center in New Bern, NC. Journey of Hope helps patients and families cope with the emotional, physical, and psychological effects of cancer by offering programs such as one-on-one peer support groups, survivorship program, massage and art therapy, exercise, and other various programs. We are delighted to be part of this race which gives back on a LOCAL level.
The race will start & finish at Creekside Elementary School where there will be plenty of parking, and the route will take you through the beautiful Carolina Colours residental neighborhood. Race activities start at 8:00 am, with announcements, followed by a Zumba warmup and the Race Start. Awards will be given for overall and age group winners: 13-under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+. For more information on Journey of Hope, please visit www.cchcfoundation.org.
