The 1K Sprint Swim at Harriman State Park is an event held on Sunday, September 10th, 2017. The swim starts at 10:00 am and takes place in Lake Welch. It is part of a trio of events called the Sri Chinmoy Swim/Run Trio. Other events taking place that day include a Swim/Run, a 1K Swim-10K Run aquathlon, and a 10K run along roads on the grounds of Harriman State Park.
The 1K Spring Swim costs $30.

The Sri Chinmoy Swim/Run Trio at Harriman State Park in upstate New York consists of three races staged simultaneously on Sunday, September 10th 2017:
* Swim-Run Aquathlon: 1km swim and 10 km run. Participants can race as individuals, or as part of a relay team
* 10K road race
* 1K open-water swim race
The 10 km run and 1 km swim are staged on the same course as the Swim-Run Aquathlon. The swim takes place in beautiful Lake Welch; the run is through the forest and follows the shores of Lake Welch(link is external).
Through a well marked and beautiful course, home-made lunch, medals for all finishers, and an especially large community of committed and encouraging volunteers, the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team offers a race atmosphere where beginners and veteran athletes alike can excel and transcend their own previous limits.
