5k/10k race/walk, August 10, 2019, Race starts at Douglas Recreation Center (1703 Hamilton St., Douglas, Wy 82633), Race starts at 8:00 am (mass start).
We invite you to participate in the Boys & Girls Club Race For Kids 5k/10k Walk/Run. This event will raise money to support our Healthy Habits program, healthy meals and snacks for Club members and their families. The Healthy Habits program is a staple in our Club and teaches our members about nutrition, body matters, fitness, and healthy social habits. The 5k and 10k race fee is $30. Can’t make the race but would still like to run/walk and contribute to our healthy habits program? Check out the Virtual Race option below! The last day to register online would be August 7 at 11:59 pm.
Race time: Race time will be begin at 8:00 am as a mass start for 5k racers and 10k racers
Race information: 5k and 10k race/walk
Racers will receive a t-shirt and swag bag at the time of packet pickup
Packet pickup time: 7:00 am – 7:45 am on race morning (August 10) at the Douglas Recreation Center 1703 Hamilton St.
Awards – Race medals will be given to the 1st and 2nd place winners in the following age groups for female and male

Virtual Race – See below –
1. Sign up online for the Race for Kids by August 7, 2019 11:59 pm. Choose the “Virtual” version of your preferred race distance: 10K, or 5K.
2. Complete your run. (You can even run another race while virtually completing ours!)
3. After you finish your Virtual Trek, email the following to michelec@bgcdouglas.com by August 10, 2019
o the date you ran,
o your time,
o and a picture of you at the location of your run.
GET THE GOODS:
If we receive your paid registration (via the itsyourrace.com website) by August 7, 2019 by 11:59 pm and your “official results” (via email) by August 10, 2019, you will receive a race T-shirt in the mail and the swag bag. Prices for the virtual races are the same as for the actual races to cover postage and handling for the T-shirt and swag bag. (Virtual runners are NOT eligible for chip timing, are not eligible for top finisher prizes in the actual races, nor will they be included in the official race results.)
