12th ANNUAL LOOP FOR LITERACY
In-Person Event February 12, 2022 beginning at 7 a.m.
or LOOP Your Way from February 1-12, 2022
Gather a team of colleagues, family, friends, or participate as an individual to actively support literacy in
the 12th annual LOOP for Literacy. Participants can walk, run or cycle in person on February 12, 2022, at
Bryant Park, Lake Worth Beach or at the place and time of their choice between *February 1-12, 2022. Proceeds will support literacy efforts in Palm Beach County to ensure that children and adults get the help they need to be successful in school and life.
This is a fun event for everyone to participate in and every child registered will receive a book. The event provides a way to actively promote wellness while supporting the important goal that every adult and child in Palm Beach County will be able to read and get the help they need to be successful in school and life.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
REGISTER FOR THE EVENT
Choose the activity you would like to participate in and follow the prompts.
PLEASE NOTE: When registering a team, enter the personal email address for each participant to allow for communications about the event and so they can use the app to report their time for virtual participation.
IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION OPTION:
BIKE: Roadside Ride – $50.00
The 24-mile ride begins at 7:00 a.m. EST, includes a rest stop at Manatee Lagoon and loops back to the park. PLEASE NOTE: A helmet is required for all cyclists.
5K USATF CERTIFIED RUN / WALK:
Adult – $35.00 | Student (18 years and under) – $15.00
Runners start at 8:00 a.m. EST and Walkers start at 8:05 a.m. EST
KIDS 1-MILE FUN RUN: (12 years and under) – $10.00 | Starts at 8:45 a.m. EST
KIDS 100-YARD DASH: (7 years and under) – $10.00 | Starts at 9:00 a.m. EST
Consider dedicating your walk, run or ride in honor of your favorite teacher, a beloved family member, to the person that taught you to love reading, a tutor, or to the person that helped make you a success! At registration, select the special question in the dropdown menu and fill in the person's name.
NOTE: Online registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on February 11, 2022. In-person registration will begin at 6:00 a.m. at Bryant Park on February 12, 2022.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION OPTION:
The same pricing as the in-person event with an option to pick up your packet at the Literacy Coalition office, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in late January, or for an additional fee, have it mailed. Registered participants can begin walking, running or cycling in this virtual race event starting on February 1, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. EST through February 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. EST.

Choose a distance of your choice, use the ItsYourRace app and email your distance and time to Comminucations@LiteracyPBC.org for manual entry. PLEASE NOTE: A helmet is required for all cyclists.

Packet Pick-Up for Virtual Participants
Packets will be available at the Literacy Coalition office (located at 3651 Quantum Blvd., Boynton Beach 33426) beginning February 1, 2022, during regular office hours, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST. Shipping packets for virtual participants is also an option with an additional shipping fee. Participants can begin walking, running or cycling on February 1 and submit their final time in the Its Your Race app through the morning of February 12.
Please note that bibs will only be assigned to in-person participants.

On-Line Registration for this event will close on February 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
In-Person Registration will begin at 6:00 a.m. EST in Bryant Park.
All registrants must walk, run or cycle their virtual race by 10:00 a.m. EST on February 12, 2022. After that, time submissions will no longer be posted to the results.
