Bread of Life Outreach Center Wellness Day 5K

Glenwood, NY: Please join us on Saturday September 7, 2024 for the Bread of Life Outreach Center Wellness Day 5K Run/Walk! The event will take place at Sprague Brook County Park in Glenwood, New York. The start and finish line will be located near the Warming Shelter (see map below). The first 100 participants to register will receive a race t-shirt and proceeds from the event support the Bread of Life Outreach Center!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Packet Pickup will take place at the Sprague Brook Warming Hut from 7:30am right up until the start of the race at 9am.

5K Registration Fee: $30/$35 on race day
*The first 100 people to register will receive a race t-shirt!

START/FINISH
5K START TIME 9AM: The race will start and finish near the Warming Hut located inside Sprague Brook Park (see map below). The 5K run will take place primarily on wide groomed trails and grass.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
After the race, participants are invited to make the short 2 minute drive to Bread of Life Outreach Center. All participants will receive a food and beverage coupon along with 1 free door prize ticket. Awards will be announced at approximately 10:45am. There will be raffles, kid friendly activities, Wellness Fair, and more! There is also an art festival scheduled in town so feel free to stick around and enjoy the day!

PARKING
There is plenty of free parking at Sprague Brook Park. Head to the Warming Hut and feel free to park on the side of the road if needed. Park officials have asked that race participants DO NOT PARK IN THE CAMPSITE AREA.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers plus age group medals as outlined below. Custom finisher certificates showing race stats and age group rank can be downloaded and printed after the race via the RESULTS button at the top of this page.

14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and up.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing & finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
