Depaul USA is hosting their First Annual “No Place Like Home” 5K Run/Walk & 1K Fun Run/Walk. Depaul USA is an organization that supports people experiencing homelessness. In St. Louis, Depaul USA provides 70 units of permanent supportive housing.
Our run will happen in historic Tower Grove Park in south St. Louis City on Saturday, October 11, 2014 starting at 9 a.m. for 5K and 9:30 a.m. for 1K fun run/walk. Registration is $25 each/$70 family of four ($10 for additional family members). Runners and walkers are encouraged to dress up like their favorite Wizard of Oz character.
Age group awards for the 5K are the following: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+. In addition, a first and second place overall for men and women will receive a gift certificate prize.
