The Walk Run Roll is the most beautiful race you will run all year! The race is held each year at Lake Scott north of Scott City. Registration takes place in the Big Grove area, just to the right of the pay station.
Hidden in the western Kansas prairie, Scott State Park is a startling oasis of natural springs, deep wooded canyons, and craggy bluffs. The 1,020-acre park surrounds the 100-acre, spring fed Scott State Fishing Lake. The 5k run will be contested on an out-and-back course along the west side of Lake Scott, while the 10k will be contested on a beautiful and interesting single loop course. Both courses are measured and certified by USATF.
For the 5K and 10K, the pre-registration fee is $35 ($45 on race day). For the one-mile fun run, pre-registration is $20 ($30 on race day). New this is year, participants will receive a Dri-Fit Shirt, In order to get your shirt you need to register before June 15, 2019.
